The Theater, lunch, and the Park

I had an awesome day with my boys yesterday! We went to a musical, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley. Thomas and Jack loved it. Although Jack seemed quite concerned that a similar fate could FALL on him. He asked a lot of questions, which was cute. After the play we had lunch, after lunch we played at the castle park. This was the coolest park. The boys had a blast, mom also 

enjoyed it! I went down the huge tube slide, FUN! I love being with these boys. There is never a dull second, and I am constantly learning from them. We always have fun together no matter what the occasion. But for some reason, everything is more fun when it feels like spring! 

My Murder Mystery Valentine!

Jason and I, along with a few friends, attended a murder mystery dinner for Valentine's Day! I often find myself so happy, that we live just close enough to Houston to enjoy the great food and entertainment, but far enough away that we miss the crime and traffic.

This is not a photo from our night. I left my camera at home. I'll post some pics later.

We took a limo. One of the hubbys surprised his wife with the ride. We had such a great time! We laughed the entire time.

The show was really fun. They picked out one character from each table, then we ate watched the show and tried to figure out "who done it" at the end. So fun! We love our great friends here in Texas. They are fun, young, christian families, that are so awesome to be around. 

Thomas and Jack had a great Valentine's as well! They made cards for all of their friends, and they had a Valentine's party of their own on Saturday.

We had a really fun weekend! We hope to take a road trip this coming weekend to Mississippi to visit family!

Paging Mickey Mouse!!

We have the flu... well my little boys have the flu. It has been pretty awful. So awful in fact, Jason thinks we should go the Disney World next week! Which of course we are not, but the thought has pulled us through. Maybe next year, Mickey! We love you!

I am starting a new blog today. I hope everyone enjoys seeing my family and catching up with our lives. Thomas is 4 and Jack is 3. Jason is wonderful, and I am blessed. We are headed to the park for some afternoon cardio. We will post more later.
